August Fan (10 out of 10 ) Absolutely cutting edge writing. Having the vision to place repeated characters within Hollywood and within the industry is absolutely mind-boggling. Who wouldn have thought of this! Just cliche shattering. When so many writers are churning out stories rehashed from other movies like "Momento", "Matrix" and "The Seventh Day" it's so refreshing to see a film take a totally unexpected approach. Cudo's for having the nads to write a film where it all happens in Hollywood. Its truly breathtaking. The bar has been raised for all screen play writers now.
existential buff (4 out of 10 ) "The Nines" director John August delivers a blase interpretation of a somewhat profound and unique explanation for existence. While the movie did keep me guessing it was more of an explicit query into why this movie had to suck so bad.
